HERSTORY.
Alexis Wideman, also known by her stage name LEXAPEEL, is a Los Angeles native, who has been a steady sound selector in Atlanta, New York, Miami, and the Bay Area. LEXAPEEL has been a DJ for a decade, but in the last 5 years has made her mark on crowds as their favorite DJ whenever she is behind a pair of turntables. Her love for music is the driving force behind her curation of eclectic vibes in every city she visits. Her distinct sonic collection of Hip-Hop, Trap Jazz, RnB, Afro Beats, and House, alongside her blending + scratching techniques allows this Open-Format DJ to rock crowds with ease. LEXAPEEL has been selected to curate the vibes for brands such as Nike, Beats by Dre, Art Basel, and Live Nation just to name a few.
Lexapeel founded Whew (Women Helping Empower Women) in January of 2020. As a female in a very male dominated industry, it is LEXAPEEL’s goal to help women empower women by building their platforms in the music industry, but also in the realm of digital artistry as well.
